Young Adult Formation
The Well: a hybrid young adult community in the Diocese of Iowa which meets online through Facebook and monthly video check-ins as well as in person at regional gatherings. There are currently 80 members of The Well, who live all over the state of Iowa as well as beyond (in places as far as California, Massachusetts, South Africa, the UK, and Beijing!) The Well is an intentional Christian community, meaning we hold one another in prayer and concern on a daily basis. It is an opportunity for young adults, regardless of whether they attend church on Sunday morning, to feel connected to a faith community. To join The Well, contact Lydia Bucklin at email@example.com.
Breaking Bread: a young adult ministry that meets monthly at a local brewery. It is an opportunity to be church in the world and to connect with the sacred in a secular location. Breaking Bread welcomes all and is a safe place to share our faith and beliefs. We gather around food and drink for conversation, music and worship.
